The problem
The previous storefront took over six seconds to become interactive on mobile. Catalogue pages rendered client-side, search was a full page reload, and the checkout dropped a large share of carts before payment.
The solution
A server-rendered catalogue with streamed product grids, an edge search index with typo tolerance, and a single-screen checkout with saved payment methods and optimistic order state.
