The problem
Enterprise HR suites were too expensive and too broad; spreadsheets were free and unusable past about thirty staff. The gap in the middle was where every one of their customers sat.
The solution
A deliberately narrow product: attendance, leave, and clean payroll inputs. No performance module, no engagement surveys. It does four things and stays cheap enough to be an obvious yes.
